NXT intelligent block is provided from the beginning a function for performing wireless communication.
More particularly, it has been using a communication standard and that function is called "Bluetooth". Although this is going to be a little difficult to talk about, is the way of the communication referred to as "standard communication ". For example, SUICA card used in the train station ticket gates is not available at the checkout for Edy (Eddie). This is different "Standard".
Therefore, the communication equipment is required corresponding to the Bluetooth to communicate with NXT intelligent block.

You can allocate in this wireless communication called "Lines" up to a maximum of 3. The line is connecting one-on-one. And I would call this "line number". You can enable only one line at a time. For example, the line 2 is not available when line 1 is running, if you want to use the line 2, need to hang up the line 1.

What is important when you want to connect to, it is the name of substance. Connect the NXT intelligent brock to your PC(with USB cable), launch NXT software. And you could type the name on NXT window by using the keyboard.

Please pay attention to the part that is written "NXT" on the liquid crystal display (LCD). This name can be changed at will.

If you changed the name of the substance, make it easier to distinguish the intelligent block. (For example, I named "NXT" for mine, Assuming the other person named "NXT". You do not know which one is yours anymore)
I do not mind the name, such as "NXTA" "NXT1" to change it.
